The European Ashram at Maria Hoop

Fear-No-More Zoo in Holland is the newest of the four zoos currently developed within Adidam. When Adi Da Samraj spent several months in Holland in 1996, He suggested that devotees in Holland acquire a young myna bird and a number of parrots, chinchillas, rabbits, and Guinea pigs which He had met in a local pet store. Each of these animals made a strong connection with Adi Da and He said He would like to have them come to live in His company.

Located at the European Adidam Ashram in historic Maria Hoop, these new animals, together with some cats and horses which were already in residence, are cared for and served amid the open countryside of rural Holland.

With the establishment of this fourth location of Fear-No-More Zoo, Adi Da reiterated that the four collections of non-humans which He had now established around Him were to be seen not as separate or individual entities, but as a single process of His Spiritual Blessing Work with all beings, human and non-human alike.

May all non-humans through-out Europe come to be understood and respected as conscious, living, spiritual beings who are no less deserving of right understanding and care than we are are.
