Prasad

A definition

Prasad is a Sanskrit term meaning gifts that have been offered to the Divine, and having been blessed, are returned as Divine gifts to devotees or aspirants. By extension, prasad is anything a devotee receives from his or her Guru.

In the Talk On the Other Side of the Purr Avatar Adi Da Samraj uses the term in a looser sense to describe the nectars and chemical secretions that the queen bee gives to the other bees in the hive.
